Hello Crafting Connection Friends,

Welcome April! As we left March and moved into April, we were reminded of the saying “April Showers Bring May Flowers”! So that is proof that there is hope and flowers to come!  This time we will be meeting April 27th . For our newcomers, we meet at 3:00pm at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, in Smithtown. Please arrive no earlier since we need time to set up. Look for the red door and go downstairs and we will be waiting for you. It is always a great time to meet new friends, connect with old ones, be creative or just hang out. We always have a selection of things that you can do including jewelry design, scrap booking, painting, coloring or just hanging out and playing games. We welcome talent and ideas! So if you are looking to have some fun and meet others, don’t miss out!

Our theme for our painting artist this month will be the “Potted Artist”. We will be painting small flower pots and wooden flowers to embrace what is yet to come! We have some cheery bright spring time paint colors for you to choose from. This little pot can be used for many things including pens, bracelets, and even a live plant!

Next month we will be anxiously awaiting summer by making a beach terrarium. We will be painting seashells and using sand to decorate our beautiful glass pieces that can be used as a decor in your home!

So don’t miss out but if you do in June there is a chance that you can make any of these projects. We will be going free style and will be displaying all left over items from the past few months that you can choose to decorate on your own.

Important Reminder: Please always check the PBS Community foundation website for the schedule and any cancellations. We are not always available through email so it is very important that you take that extra step especially if there is bad weather.

We look forward to seeing each of you!

Keep Calm and Craft on, Your Crafting Queens, Diane, Morgan and Lauren!

Come in through the red door and meet us downstairs. Please don’t be too early because we will be busy setting up. If you are a table leader you may come during set up time to help. We will have our tables set up for Jewelry Design, Mandela Coloring, Scrap booking and Drawing and so much more.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Every month we offer a special project, sometimes a few especially if there is a Holiday coming up.

CANCELLATIONS!
Please check the PBS community Foundation Calendar for cancellations and other events. I will also do my best to send out an email for Crafting Connection.

DONATIONS!
We are thankful and appreciative of all donations. At this time due to limited space we are only accepting the following donations: Yarn, Crocheting Needles, Beads for Jewelry, and Scrap Booking items.
