PBSCF back on The People’s Podcast!

PBS Community Foundation

To all our PBSCF participants, your families , staff, friends and our supporters,

How are you managing? We realize that the last few months have been a difficult time for everyone. We have been here for you every step of the way by switching all our initiatives to a virtual platform. We also assembled a long list of resources to help you meet your needs in your community during this pandemic. You can access these resources on our website.

We created numerous Saturday night activities such as #PBSCFStrong Cabaret, Trivia & game nights, which were also fundraising events and we are very grateful for your support. We are very happy to see you enjoying all our events and looking forward to seeing those of you who didn't join yet.  Our Community Connectors are hard at work planning a summer of fun for you!  You can find it all on our website calendar.

Please know that we are here to help you go through these challenging times . Don’t hesitate to approach us with any question you may have by sending an infoatpbscommunityfoundation [dot] org (email to PBSCF).

Stay safe, be well-

South Bay Neighbor

Here we are in the South Bay Neighbor! Read the article that features our friend Erin D. as she shares her experience leading a self-directed life.

After careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel all of our regularly scheduled initiatives during the month of March. The health and well-being of our participants and guests of PBSCF is our primary concern and we are closely following the CDC and WHO response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  We join with many other nonprofits, schools, human services agencies, businesses, and government organizations in doing what we can to slow the spread of COVID-19.

During the month of April, PBSCF will hold our regularly scheduled initiatives (and more!) virtually using Zoom. This platform allows us to come together using our computer audio and video to interact and continue doing many of our favorite activities.  Take this opportunity to try a new initiative!  Check our Events Calendar for many virtual events that PBSCF has planned each week.
